Western High School is transitioning into a districtwide magnet school that is foundationally grounded in coding technologies. Western is not accepting 9th Graders during the 2023-24 school year and will transition to a full magnet school in the 2024-25 school year.
Distinguished STEM Scholar Program
The Distinguished STEM Scholar Program is a selective group of Western students who demonstrate the potential for academic excellence across STEM content areas.
The purpose of the Distinguished STEM Scholar Program is to provide added support and opportunities for students who wish to pursue STEM at the college or university level.
